Built this (first of two) for a member in the local model club, a Vietnam veteran, who is building a diorama of the barracks he was stationed at in SoCal.
It's a Russian made ACE 1/72 scale kit.  He did not want to build it, and I can (barely) see why.  It is extremely detailed, with teeny tiny parts.  But it didn't take too long.  It looks incomplete with no stars, and not weathered, he said they had to keep them clean, and no machine guns since they were stationed in the city.
Sounds like I'm complaining about tiny parts, I just got the Italeri 1/35 scale kit of the Sahariana, with additional photo-etched and resin details.

Looks good.  Don't think I'd have the nerve to try that little thing in 1/72.  I have the Hobby Boss 1/35 scale V-100 kit, which looks hard enough.  When I worked in Saudi Arabia, I often saw the later V-150 version of that vehicle.  The Saudi National Guard used them.

Pretty neat armored car.  That sure is small.

I would not have chosen 1/72, prefer 1/35.  At first I was daunted by the tiny parts, but many car details are just as small.  I've also been into German armored cars, this is along the same theme.
