davysmodels
Looking for an article in Model Cars Mag on How to Paint/simulate wood panels on a woody station wagon. thanks, larry
SfanGoch
Consider using wood grain decals. This company, Uschi van der Rosten, makes them. The set, Nr. 1008, is third from the bottom on the linked page. They even have a set for 1/24-1/25 Woody Wagons. There's a tutorial section which explains how to use the decals. BigTallDad
You could also print your own decals. There are a couple images (dark/light wood) in this tutorial http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/101995-woodification-making-it-a-woodie/
crazyjim
Hope this works to include a pdf file. If not, send me a real email address. File failed to load. The original story was in/on Hobby Heaven. Edited March 4, 2018 by crazyjim
