LDO
Is this the one from a Rod & Custom 2-part article about 50 years ago? Cool article, but I only have one part of it. Good luck on it. It's a really cool subject.

regular guy
Decided on a race car design. It will be the AK Miller Mexico Road Race car. Let's say it will be that 'type' of car.Not much auto design excitement there.Basically 50's indy car or big car look. One body I will work on here is a hot rod roadster body. A bumble bee tail low slung body. Can be used in place of a bucket T body. Sort of a Sports '27 T track roadster function with a different look. The other one is an inverted wedge bucket T body with matching front end. Will spend some time on the light box and post sketches.
regular guy
Forgot the big news. Amaco Balsa Foam is on the way! Sounds ideal for shaping body parts and whole bodies from. Just have to try it and see how it works. I will say the Woodland Scenics railroad layout foam did not work out. It is like Walmart foam cooler foam.It was supposed to be cut with a hot knife for example. It is just good for putting underneath clay to save clay. Will report on Balsa Foam. regular guy
Amaco balsa foam arrived. Have two samples. One low density and one high. You can really tell the difference in weight. Will test it for cutability and sandability.
