Flying VW Beetle Type Bf 1O9 VW

Recommended Posts

Hallo, I'd like to share my latest build, a Cranky-inspired (thanks, Doc) flying VW Beetle.

I've used a Hasegawa kit with various parts from the parts box, wires, hoses etc. Decals are Eduard and Airfix. It was a fun build and a source of a great enjoyment for me.

Original inspiration came from the pictures of Alejandro Burdisio:

That looks like a heck of a lot of fun. Well done.

The Doc used to be a fixture around here but reasons unknown (to me anyway), he's stopped posting a couple years ago. Too bad, I always enjoyed his posts.

Thank you, Rob. The Doc shares his work via YouTube nowadays.

Very creative but those loose wires could easily get snagged on something with perhaps tragic results.

Thanks, Phillip. You're right, I'm happy that I don't have to drive it! :)

Yes I realize you are just following the art work that inspired it.
