GMC Daycab done 10/21

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

This is my latest project , I started it a few years ago I cut the cab down to a day cab the original plan was a single axle short city hauler, but I decided to go with  duals.

I also lower the cab by an 1/8 inch .

I like this a lot.  I've always wanted to build one as a single drive but the dual looks good.  It reminds me of a Kroger truck.

Nice, this reminds me of the Chevy's and GMC's my company used  to use in the 70s and 80s.

Man this is looking good...almost cut mine down , but changed my mind. Maybe the next one. So, I'll be following along as you do yours. Might get some ideals....

Hope you don't mind the pic.

Nice work thus far !  I like the dual drive . I have only cut down one cab and that was a Peterbilt, haven't built the truck yet. I also did the Freightliner as a day cab with duals . And have plans to do a KW as well. So I will be watching this project .
