In that time frame there were so many next sure thing drivers in Busch who never made a significant splash in Cup. The converse side there were a few drivers who didn't make much of a splash in Busch but moved mountains in Cup such as Jimmy Johnson. Unfortunately it seems there were a lot more who didn't transition well than did. I could name a handful with little thought; Chad Little, Casey Atwood, Johnny Benson, Elton Sawyer, Joe Nemechek, Jeff Green. I'm sure there's about five others that could be added to the list.
