Looking like a nice start. Remember that the real Crosleys were only four feet wide. They were made that way so they would fit through the front doors of the retail stores they were originally sold in. Crosley also made refrigerators and radios so the cars were sometimes displayed right next to a fridge. I have some photos I took recently of some real Crosleys near here that I can email to you if you PM me your address. I look forward to watching this build develop.

Virtually NO progress!

Yes, the body is the AMT Fiat (been gonna build it since like '79)

Thanks Russel for answering the artist question, I did not know who drew it.

love ALL of Taylors stuff!

I started roughing in crosley-esque fenders and started a nose outta X-Ray film.

 

Also thought about using a Deuce frame, so I stripped one down to front crossmember and rails.

Probably wont see enough of the frame to matter.

I have one of those Ebay Crosley bodies Im building as a 60s era drag car. I radiused in some wheelwells, and planned a blown FE ford motor so far. itll probably sit on my desk mocked up forever and a day haha

 

If you havent yet, look up "Kamicrosley"...you wont be disappointed haha
