Jaguar XK 120, Revell

Excellent build there Peter, and this model is so much better than the diecast Bburago version that I have. I really do need to invest in the Revell kit version that you have built so well. Some diecast model motor cars in 1:24 scale do look very realistic, but I can't say that for the Jaguar XK120. Your attention to detail has inspired me, thanks.

Very nice work.

The paint job is perfect (not to shiny).

With what did you re-chromed the windscreen frame ?

I am actualy building the same model. I noticed an important gap between the hood and left fender.

Thanks very much for all the comments, they are much appreciated.

About attaching the windscreen: I drilled holes on either side at its base and into the body to accept wire "bolts", which I later glued in place. These can be seen in the photos.

I then thinned the frame down and had it re-chromed professionally.
