iamsuperdan
Inspired by the "Future Of The Hobby" thread. Just curious as to how old everyone here is. Don't need specifics, just interested in the general age range.

Hence we might be the last major wave in this hobby before the final crash.

Greg Myers
70 My dad built most of my Monogram War planes in the fifties until my impatience got the best of me. Then it was off to the races, building those war birds for my self. I remember my first stash, some where around 1957. My mom told me : No more models till you build the ones you already have." First car kits, Monogram Long John 1959, because it was motorized. I remember seeing the first AMT Trophy kits on the shelves, '32 Fords '40 Ford coupe, no interest, back to the War Birds until high school 1961, my friends set me straight. iamsuperdan
For the record, I'm 44. I don't act my age that's for sure. And I only feel old in two situations: First, when I hit the volleyball courts. My knees feel 44. Second, when I'm talking to my 22 year old lot attendant at work. I'm literally old enough to be her dad. Without it being like "Wow you were young when you had her!"
