YBlock292
Just finished this kit after a long period of time. Chrome plated parts were very poor in the kit - looked like matt aluminum - had to be rechromed. I used Molotows Liquid Chrome which worked excellent. StevenGuthmiller
Looks like nice work! It's just too bad that Trumpeter did such a bad job on the roof & deck lid proportions of this kit. I have one of the hardtops, but if I ever build it, the top is coming off. Even more likely, I'll just build the old AMT annual. Nice job though! YBlock292
Thank You Steve, Yes, I know that the proportions of the kit are not correct, but I build it straight out of the box, with a lot of parts and details ... at least one positive thing on this kit. Regards Ludwig

Regards Ludwig I agree, it's a nicely detailed kit. I think that the convertible version may look a little more accurate. I appreciate the fact that you built it anyway. Anglia105E
You have done a really good job on this Pontiac build Ludwig and I am impressed witht the fine detail, especially inside the engine bay and interior of the car. I like the colour that you have used for the paint finish on the bodywork, what is that colour called? Looks very '50's...... Molotow Liquid Chrome is the best by far. geetee66
Nice detail work and the colour combo works well. Looks authentic. I'm no expert in these cars, but I reckon an Elkie style custom would really suit it ?

Perspective Customs
Very nice! Did you use the Molotow pen or shoot it through an air brush?

YBlock292
@ David (Anglia105E): The Color I used for the Body is Tamiya Titanium Silver (TS-68). @ Jay (Perspective Customs): I used a Molotow 1mm and a 4 mm pen for smaller parts. The bumpers where rechromed with a brush using liquid Chrome out of the refill "tank". I did not have to use an air-brush to apply, as You can see the bumpers came out very well.
