afx
I've been working to enlarge the hole to get more recess Alex. We'll see how much I can obtain. I'm happy with the size of the cap.

afx
Thinned semi-gloss black 3-parts thinner to 1-part paint and flowed it into the recess of the Fuchs wheels. Not a traditional look for a 944 or even Fuchs but I like it.

Tommy124
Good idea. I think those silver-only Fuchs rims are mostly lacking some depth (or black inside painting...), so you did just the right thing!
Speedfreak
JC, did you ever finish this?
afx
Not finished yet Gene, just waiting it's turn to get back on the bench.

Pete75
Really enjoyed reading this thread in one go. I'm pretty new to modelling, so this level of customisation/scratch fabrication is awesomely impressive. The 944TR needs to wheel it's way to the front of the bench for completion!
