1969 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe

Started this with AMT 1970 Impala kit. I used chassis, engine, doors and quarter panels

and 20% of the trunk, interior bucket, wheels, part of dash from the 1970. The roof and

sail panel is 1969 Wildcat,the front fenders,hood,bumpers,valance f/b is resin,tail lights

are Modelhaus. Transmission is resin automatic, some scratch build under the hood

that aren`t 100% correct, but an improvement imo compared to the stock kit.

Noticed the car surfing Google, and wanted to try do somthing similar.

Color is LeMans Blue,Parchment interior,Turbojet 427 & Turbohydramatic (Th400).

Thanks for looking

Great job!  My second car was a '69 Impala, opposite colors of your SS, white car with blue interior.  Unfortunately mine wasn't an SS, it had a 327, electric windows, electric seats and locks.  I honestly bought it from a little old lady........  One of my favorite cars.

Very well done!  I don't think I've ever seen anyone create a '69 Impala with the Sport Coupe roofline.

I also like the Caprice hidden headlights, which are a popular upgrade with owners of 1:1 '68 and '69 Impalas. (Why GM didn't offer it as a factory option with the SS package is beyond me)
