These are cool! Very unique builds. I've never seen a build of the Stroker Ace Tbird and I really want to build the Emergency! paramedic truck.

Where did you get that large decal for the Smokey and the Bandit truck? That's another someday build for me. I love that movie.

I want to post some of my ancient TV car builds, but am intimidated - all these posts look sooo good!

Repstock, I'm glad you posted your Rockford Files cars here. I've seen them in the past and think you did a great job. Thanks for responding.

BTW - Did you make the truck from the Monogram or MPC kit? And how did you do the side trim so well?

The truck is the MPC 1978 Chevy pickup cab, the bed is from the Fall Guy MPC truck, and the 4WD stuff is from the Mule Skinner MPC truck. The GMC grille and roll bar are scratch built. The trim was done with patience and evergreen strip styrene (maybe it was plastruct, I'm not sure). Thank you for the kind words.

Beautiful builds. I've never seen a Batmobile with engine. And I can tell you built the General from the superior Revell kit, I plan on doing that myself someday. Thanks

Thanks. I used the Johan Chrysler Turbine car's engine and exhaust. Yep, used Revell's kit with AMT wheels tires pushbar and antenna. Decals are actual vinyl decals like the real car.

Makes sense! It sounds like a turbine on the show. Very clever.

I am a fan of the TV series Spenser For Hire starring the late Robert Urich.  I have built Spenser's first, second, and third season Mustangs from the show, Hawk's BMW 635 CSI, and the '67 Mustang from Spenser: The Judas Goat and Spenser: A Savage Place.

When challenged to do a movie car, I just couldn't do something people have seen before.

I love this, that movie was so bad, but I still remember it from 30years ago. I would never had thought to do the car. Maybe it was the best "B" movie ever?

Well according to this list, https://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/lists/2014/05/the-100-best-b-movies-of-all-time.html?a=1 , it's not even in the top 100, but I like it.

I had a lot of fun with the model even though I parted out four kits to build it.

This is another builder's car. I can't remember his name, but I liked the camera angle and the ingenious display. He photographed it looking out the windshield of his car!

If this is yours - please, step up and tell us who you are.

That's my General, thanks for the share!  Here's a few of my "oddball" TV/movie builds:

The one from Tommy Boy is awesome! I’d love to see it in post road trip form after Tommy Boy (and the deer) worked their magic, complete with melted chocolate in the dash. Of course, with the thin candy shell, maybe it’s no issue?

The Car

That's a good build of that car. I don't know what you started with, but you did it up well! Very stupid movie though.

I always thought the late model Chrysler 300s looked like this car - high beltline, chopped, blocky roof, headlights and all.

BTW, this is another one of George Barris custom cars and he ruined a classic Lincoln Mark III to do it.

Here are two that I built about 18 years ago. Still holding their own in my showcase and representative of my favorite TV shows growing up.

1972 LACoFD "Squad 51 from "Emergency!" and the 1969 Plymouth Belvedere from "Adam-12."
