This T3 Stretchlimo has a real role model. You can rent them in Berlin. The name of her: Luise.

here the link to official website.

When I was in Berlin 2006 there was a company called Trabant Safari where they take on tour of Berlin and check-point Charlie in in a Trabant.

Outstanding body of work. Each build is unique and beautifully detailed. I also liked the '58 Nomad. I was wondering about what all you had to do to the rear fenders and tailgate area of the body. I see you reduced the taillights to just two per side and I think you may have had to do much more for the tailgate to fit the way you have done, especially with it being operational.

Yes, the work on the rear fenders was very tricky. Of the 3 taillights per side, the middle ones were separated out. And the rear fenders were adjusted in height. For this I have this cut up to the middle and removed a wedge.

The tailgate is from the 55 Nomad and was extended only with the bumper of the 58 Impala.

Here are some WIP pictures.

Thank you for the pictures and information on the conversion. I have the roof from a Revell '56 Nomad and I'm trying to see what I could use it on and the '58 Impala was one of the models I was considering. I saw that the top fender line dropped toward the rear and now I know why.
