Vintage AMT & Johan Kit Bodies & Parts. UPDATE! Photo Link & Misc Parts Added!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

I've decided that it might be time to thin out some of the herd & get rid of some vintage kit stuff that I will likely never use.

Most of these are incomplete kits, mostly bodies, some damaged, some in great shape.

Some are painted, some have donor parts for damaged areas.

Here is a partial list of some of what I'm talking about.

I really can't think of a lot that I need at the moment, but you can always make an offer & we'll see if we can work something out.

AMT:

1962 Pontiac Bonneville convertible X2. One good body, one damaged. lots of usable parts. Should be able to build a complete kit between the two.

1963 Pontiac Bonneville hard top.   (GONE)

              1964 Pontiac Bonneville.  (GONE)

              1964 Pontiac Grand Prix.  (GONE)

1964 Pontiac GTO, (vintage kit).   (GONE)

              1962 Mercury Meteor.   (GONE)

(NEW)  1961 Mercury Monterey Promo.  Top removed. No fender ornaments. Chipped rear bumper. Nice interior.

1960 Mercury convertible. Damaged body with replacement windshield frame. scripts faint but good for a custom. most parts to finish.

1960 Lincoln Continental convertible X2. Good bodies with lots of extra parts. one damaged hardtop. no convertible windshield frames. Should be mostly complete otherwise.

Johan:

1959 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer. Hood cut open. very nice chrome parts. No interior

              1963 Oldsmobile Starfire. Minus interior.

1965 Plymouth Fury hard top.   (GONE)

1963 Chrysler 300 convertible. Broken windshield frame but good interior, hood, chassis. a few other misc. parts.

(NEW) PARTS:

              1959 Edsel Rear Bumper.

              1959 Ford Continental Kit. (Modelhaus)

1958 Buick Stock Fender Skirts.  (Modelhaus)

1958 Pontiac Bonneville Stock Wheel Covers.  (Modelhaus) ONLY 3. :( These are correct reproductions from the promo.

1960 Edsel Stock Wheel Covers & Tail Lights.  (GONE)

1965 Dodge Monaco Spinner Wheel Covers.

              1959 Mercury Convertible Boot.

1960 Buick Promo Front & Rear Bumpers & complete Interior.  Interior is nice. Rear bumper has small chip.

None of these parts are in mint condition, but some are very nice.

I may think of a few more in the future.

The only thing that I can think of that I need at the moment are:

MPC 1966 Dodge Monaco rear bumper.   (FOUND)

AMT 1960 Ford Pickup hood spears.

           AMT 1965 Mercury hood.

I am also looking for a complete 1963 Mercury convertible with the up top, and an AMT 1966 Buick Skylark GS.

I might also entertain a few vintage 60s intermediates & compacts, ie. Riviera, Corvair, Tempest, Cutlass, Falcon, Comet, Valiant, Barracuda.

UPDATE

I have added a few miscellaneous parts & a photo link to all of the items that I have available.

Check the descriptions with the photos.

I'd love to trade you for the 63 and 64 Bonnie HT and the 64 Grand Prix, but I don't have anything that old to trade for them. My dad owned the real things back when they were new and I've always wanted to build models of them.

I have a lot of models though, PM me and maybe we can work something out.

I really would like to have those Pontiacs!

The '63 is basically just a body.

After going back & checking, I found that I was mistaken on the '64 Bonneville.

I thought that there were more parts, but it too is basically just a hard top body with a convertible donor body to fix a broken section on the front fender.

The '64 Grand Prix is pretty much complete I believe, but I would have to dig up all of the parts for it.

There really aren't any newer kits that I can think of that I want at the moment, & I'd really like to trade for other vintage items, but I'll see how this whole thing goes & I will keep you in mind Pat.
