'57 Chevy 150 w/Pontiac 389 under the hood.

Recommended Posts

Faced with what to do with some '66 Pontiac G.T.O. Parts such as the 389 engine, red line tires, and G.T.O rims. I decided to do something different to a '57 Chevy 150. I painted the rims to match the cars body, and used the 150's dog dish hub caps. While under the hood went the 389, which fit the chassis very well.

I like this a lot, and your paint looks very close to '57 Harbor Blue, my favorite '57 Chevy color. Well done and model on!B)

Your build looks great. I like the engine transplant idea. I'll bet more than a few Tri-Five Chevys got engine transplants other than another Chevrolet engine.

Very nice. I bet with the 389, this 57 is a great candidate for a stop light showdown lol.
