This is from the Monogram "B-52 with X-15" kit.  I wanted to add it to my "Go Fast" display.  All the kits in the group are 1/72 scale, which gives you an idea how big the XB-70 is.

I will build the B-52 when I figure out where the heck I'm going to put it!  Thanks for looking.

Nice! If you're going fast, you need an F-104 and an F-15 in there.

Thanks, Snake. I have a 1/72 F-104 kit, but I think I am going to put that in the "Cold War" department. However, it was one of the chase planes for the XB-70, so maybe I'll have to do two of them, and follow your advice.

An F-15 would be cool! They had one parked right next to the B1-B at the USAF museum.

I remember when the XB-70 came out, it was awe inspiring then.  Your X-15 looks great, little more than a seat attached to a rocket!  Those guys had stones.

Thanks, Bruce!  Everything you said is true. They definitely had the Right Stuff.

Not just A chase plane, but THE chase plane that brought one of the Valkyries down when he drifted in too close. Mount him inverted over the XB-70!
