Cool old 30's tractor trailer and other old trucks

Recommended Posts

Both the Dodge COE and the Diamond T tractors look to me like they might be runners. Both of them appear to have good rubber, especially on the rear.

The Dodge COEs and Fruehauf round-nosed and winged trailers were still in wide use when I was a kid in the 1950s.

Nice old trucks.  Thanks for posting.

Nice bike.  What is that?  It looks like a Versys.

The bike is a Rally Raid modified Honda CB500X. Great bike off road and a good road bike for solo. I have had it 2 years and enjoy it. However I have half the purchase price in mods.

I found another shot of the Dodge with her trailer...with the camper rig behind !

I thought it looked like a runner. Everything seemed to be in decent condition despite its age. I could not find anyone to talk to about it, so I have little info other than the pictures.

BTW I do have more pictures if anyone wants them.

Thanks for posting the crystal clear photos of these vintage units. The side damage to that Mayflower trailer shouts narrow roads and wide trailers. There is surely inspiration there for those forum readers wanting to build a period perfect tractor and trailer rig.
