Mike77
Can someone please tell me how long the fuel tanks are on the AMT White Freightliner COE? I'm assuming the DD and SD use the same tanks. Thanks!

Perfect, thanks Brian! Guess I'll have to relieve Hobby Lobby of one of their Freightliner kits this weekend.
clayton
I have used PVC with flat sheet for ends. Also pill bottles. There O,D will be a tad larger or smaller depending on the size you are looking for. With a little work they can look better than the kit tanks at times. Mike77
I've used all sorts of things for tanks (and other parts) over the years. I think the weirdest thing I used was for a 1/8-scale Corvette Grand Sport...I used plastic parts from hummingbird feeders I saw in Walmart to replicate the quarter panel vents! Lol! What I'm working on right now is just a small build so the kit tanks will suffice. Edited July 19, 2018 by Mike77
