Miatatom
I'm always struggling to get some more light on a part and I think I've found a way. Works for me. I used the Multi-Position Magnetic Base that I already had. It's got some heft to it and won't just fall over. https://www.harborfreight.com/multi-position-magnetic-base-with-fine-adjustment-63663.html I bought a clamp on eBay. I paid a little more ($7) and bought it in the US. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chemistry-Lab-Single-Three-Prong-Extension-Flask-Clip-Clamp-for-Stand-GXFH/153085779409 Just remove the arm that comes on the magnetic base and insert the clamp. I leave the wrench hanging on it for quick adjustment. The flashlight is a 32 LED from Harbor Freight ($4). I count about $26 + tax for all of it. StevenGuthmiller
A lighted magnifier is a lot less work & it gives you magnification capabilities to boot. Steve

Thank you for the tip, I am with you a magnifying glass does not work for my tired eyes. I discovered dollar store reading glasses work better than a magnifier. Another good way to is camping headlights. When I hit 40 years old the eyes got bad, now at 51 they are really bad. So I am always on the look out with tips on lighting!
