Tom Geiger
What is with the jacked up stance of those trucks in Brazil?

It's for uphill driving, keeps the load leveled, it's either that or slide in cargo!

My guess for the high rear is ground clearance to keep it from bottoming out or dragging on rough unpaved roads?
Little Timmy
I dont think anybody noticed .... that truck at the 52 sec. mark almost had the load shift. Lifted the right rear wheel off the ground. Scary !

Lifted the right rear wheel off the ground. Scary ! I did and that's why I started this topic. They have obviously not heard of what a high center of gravity will do to the caracteristics of the vehicle, and ground clearance is not why they do it, the front is lowered so much that they can't pass a speed bump without scraping the bumper on the ground. So it's totally insane in my opinion and I would not drive one of these loaded at speed. Edited August 2, 2018 by Force
Day 2 Muscle
Well, you see, if the brakes fail they let the air out and the bumper bar drags the pavement to slow them down Robert
truckabilly
There´s probably no other reason for that than a custom style. So many countries, so many customs. I wouldn´t sit in anything like that. It´s really insane! I bet the local police is not happy about that. Just my two cents.
DrKerry
Watch the video again just before he tilts! He actually goes off the edge of the road just a bit and I think he panicked and swerved to bring it back in his lane!
