1966 Ford Fairlane

Thanks for the tip. I’m not quite sure what you mean by windshield pillar? Where exactly is it? I really don’t care for the way the paint came out on this Fairlane. It was an old body and one of my first builds. I had sanded the Fairlane scripts off on one side as I didn’t know how to do scripts back then and in addition I recently repainted over an already bad orange peeled paint job, something I’ll never do again as the imperfections come right through the new paint layers. It’s funny, when I look at the model in real-time it doesn’t look too bad, but when I look at the posted pics it looks bad.  AMT just reissued a new 66 Fairlane and while I really hate buying a whole new model just for the body, the way this one came out is bothering me. Sorry for the ignorance, but let me know the area you are referring too so I can do it right when I do the new body.  Thanks!!  John
