Thank you, I really like your builds including your Escort, always gee’s me up to try and get better.

Glad you like my Escort Peter.  If you build another and have any questions about what I did - just ask.

JC, do you have any idea iif Hasegawa would have the molds for the Zackspeed version as well, Revell never repopped it as we all know.

Shay.

Shay, Italeri/Revell have re-issued the Esci RS1800 kit - not aware of Hasegawa having these molds.   I have no information on the whereabouts of the Zakspeed mold.

However Reji offers this Zakspeed body style as a resin trans-kit.

Sorry, I meant Italeri JC

I wonder if the Zackspeed molds are long gone, could someone resin cast it without copyright issues?

I thought Reji was offering the original Zakspeed body is resin as well but I couldn't find it doing a quick search - maybe try contacting them?

I fired off an email to Italeri asking if they have the molds.

Italy is an hour ahead of me so the office would have been shut, 7 pm their time.

If I hear anything back I'll let you know.

Had a look at the Reji site, €130 for a trans kit? That's 148 bucks in your money give or take.....

Oh, and apologies to our Aussie friend for the Hi-jack of the thread!

No problem fellas. My mum had a Aussie four door 1.3, and my mate had a couple of 2.0’s, if I could have a resin / diecast / ANYTHING of the stock as a rock bodied esky, I’d be set.

Love it. Looks like I may have over done the mud, and the spotlights must have been a seventies thing!

The diving lights are for the night stages.  The design has advanced through the years but functionally the same.

Very cool looking build Peter, looks like you spent a ton of time on this project. I will apologize ahead of time but I am about to pull a mini high jack here. Shay and I go way back on other sites.
