LaFerrari

Recommended Posts

Revells LaFerrari. Colour is electric blue candy from Alclad with Zero paints 2k clear on the top. It was wet sanded and polished which is

something I normally never do, but in this case it was needed

With all those edges and weird body lines and angles,  if you wet sanded and polished that without burning through the paint, you are the polishing champ of the world. Very impressive.

Thanks. As I said it is something I normally never do so I guess it was more luck than skills.

Absolutely phenomenal. You should visit your friends and family, and just put this on the table. No words. Watch their lower jaw unhinge in awe.

Thank you kind a Sir!  I have seen/heard too where some have good results with the Testors Black Rubber...  I have heard of it being used on dashes like this, but extensively throughout interiors because of its ‘scale’ appearance with regard to texture.  I’ll do a spoon work-up before shooting the dash I’m not CF’ing (I’m building multiples) and I’ll be sure to credit you in the post.  Again thank you and I may DM you with some other questions going forward.  At your leisure; of course.

S/F, Gunner B
