MarkJ
After 187.5 hours, its finally finished. Freddy campaigned this car back in 1973. Its kind of a compilation of a few of his cars, from that time, because I did not have complete ref pics to go by. I chose this one because it seems to have had chrome rims, and chrome door numbers. My inspiration for this build is that I saw Freddy compete back in 1973 at Houston's Meyer Speedway, and he dominated the events the night, I was there. I know he was in a 65 Chevelle, but I cant remember the color, or number of the car he drove that night. Maybe it was this one. I mean it was 45 years ago. TarheelRick
You got my attention with this one. My favorite car of all time is the 65 Chevelle, built anyway - street, circle burner , or drag. This is some beautiful workmanship.

sflam123
Beautiful work!! The 70's is my favorite era of short track late models. Such variety. There were 1957 Chevy's racing against 1965 Chevelle's racing against 1970's Camaro's.
