Lovefordgalaxie
Started building this baby last week. Did some bodywork on it, and deepened all the molded panel lines. Painted it Inca Gold. Now I'm gonna start de chroming de engine, and separating the rest of the parts from the flash.

Lovefordgalaxie
Had the body rubbed, and the scripts revealed from under the paint. Will wait a few more days to actually shine it with wax. Started working on some interior detail. There was a sink mark on the dash, and the door panel was molded "fused" to the dash, without a clear separation line between them, Fixing that. The engine is on brake fluid to decrome. More to come!!

ewetwo
So you paint the scripts first? Then paint the car the color you want and then rub the colored paint off?

Then I rub the paint off.

Rider
Very nice work. It's amazing how a bit of added panel scribing adds to the realism of a build.
Sledsel
Great job on those panel lines, especially the trunk and tail light bezels. Looking great.
Ron Hamilton
I have always thought a nice build could be made from that kit. I have one of those that has been in my collection for 30 years untouched. Your build is an inspiration for me to do mine in the near future. Lovefordgalaxie
More detail done. Finished with the airbrush on this baby. Now it's just a case of brush painting the details, and foiling. Will make some foil for the body, and also some brushed foil for the dash, to recreate some of the looks of the engine turned inserts.
