And yes, I have this kit but have never built it and each one I know that has, say that it's practically trouble free. You can expect no less from Tamiya. I'm torn though whether to build this '66, or down the road spend the money on Bestmodelcarparts.com's '57 VW transkit which is also very nice! I've been bittyby the Volkswagen bug just received the VW panel van ( yagermiester?) Looks like a fun build Revell Germany, Amazon, came from Hong Kong! Unbelievable! It looks a bit off because its shiney, and rusty cars are never shiny! These are terrific kits from Tamiya, and yours turned out awesome!
