Jordan White
Oh boy, unless they decided to suddenly make the Escalade ESV, then that is quite the box art blunder!

Maybe Jairus Watson can comment on it...looks like his signature just ahead of the RR tire.
mike 51
I don't know my SUVs...short wheelbase body that was already done vs. the long wheelbase one that hasn't been? Edited September 17, 2018 by mike

Don't bother, its simply a reissue with now incorrect box art, its not going to be a ESV kit.

niteowl7710
Well remember all of this box art was drawn up pre-bankruptcy, and for the financial and practical reasons (further delaying an already delayed unasked for reissue) they weren't going to have it re-done. You're right. I don't know why I allowed myself to be so optimistic
MyBradKeselowski
I'll pass on this one, I don't like the looks of the Escalade anyway..
Mike999
Joke's on me...I found the older Revell Escalade cheap at a swap meet, and thought I would convert it to an Escalade hearse, as shown below. I plunged right in, creating the vinyl roof and its "halo" chrome bar, and generally wasting a lot of time... ...because something eventually occurred to me that people smarter than me (which is just about everybody) would have figured out before they started work: this standard wheelbase Escalade won't ever work as a hearse. Well, maybe a hearse for a Mafia funeral, where the Dearly Departed was blown up by a car bomb and would fit in a very short coffin. But now I'm thinking I could use TWO Escalade kits, stretch the wheelbase to the ESV length, and...no. Just no. Not even I am that insane... Jon Cole
Maybe RMR Resin would someday offer the longer version?

The EXT kit is already the right length, you'd just have to convert the rear.
Ron Hamilton
Revell made a kit of the Escalade EXT. Maybe a ESV can be made using the rear roof section from the Escalade kit, some plastic rod and some clear styrene for the side Windows.
