Could that be a Willis under all that putty ?  What are you using to shape the body ?

most of its a willys, and theres most of a 40 ford in there too, and some chrysler atlantic and some 37 ford and a little vw beetle too. I'm did most of the stretching with acrylic nail filler as its much stronger than just gluing plastic together and when it has set its plastic rather than filler. Its good stuff and a little goes a long way. I used it to add a skin inside and out too for extra strength. I'm still rubbing down filler just now to give the roof and doors a little more curve as the willys is pretty flat compared to a lincoln

Some older progress pics. The plan is to modernise the v12 with ardun heads, fuel injection and coil packs. I'll be using the willys front suspension and whatever rear axle fits. Most of the interior will be scratchbuilt around a 50 ford pick up dash and some corvette seats from clearly scale.

Wow!! This is way cool.

I had to laugh at "guess what models were used". I'd say...a '40 Ford, maybe a '37, some Revell Black Force or Bugatti or something...and most of a birthday cake!

That nail filler is very interesting...I will have to see if I can find some and try it out :)

It started as a 41 willys, lol. if your wanting to try it, look for the sets from china on amazon. I think the bottle of liquid is in one of the background pics. there are 3 speeds of liquid too, 2 mins, 5 mins and ten mins setting time

Time for another update. As well as lots of sanding I had to make up some lights. I used the 37 ford as I think the lenses stick out more than the 40 ford or willys ones.

I have also made a start on the dash. For it I used the willys dash as the base and a 50 ford pick up for the gauges and some other parts.

Its not accurate but it'll do for a custom.

lets try and post this again, i messed up my first attempt, lol. I made the interior tub tonight using the rear of the chrysler atlantic concept as it has the same body line as the trunk and hood. I am using the centre console from the willys but i rounded of most of the edges so it flows better. A trimmed it so the dash fits, then added some trim to bring to mind the stock grille while being obviously modern custom.

I might swap the seats for low back versions of the same seat, I'm not sure the highbacks work for this build

a little work on the engine tonight. in keeping with the old but new theme, I made some coil packs for the engine (12 of them, lol) and did a little detailing to the manifold I already made in preperation for wiring.

I'm not too worried about the gaps in the heads, the wiring will cover most of them. I'll be adding some more detail to the manifold after it's all wired
