Ahajmano
Have to set the Zakspeed Capri aside until I get more decals. SO, I am starting this kit. I fly often for business so I cut and clean all the parts while I fly. Just keyed the body, washed, and ready for primer Edited October 5, 2018 by Ahajmano

Ahajmano
So I sprayed the primer tonight, but I ended up getting “clumping” of the primer on the surface. Left me with a lot of sanding to do. I am using Tamiya fine primer, decanted and sprayed with an air brush Edited October 5, 2018 by Ahajmano
Ahajmano
Primer was sanded down. 2000, 3000 and finished with 6000. Hit it with paint today. 3 coats on all the pieces requiring body color (which are quite a few!) this is my first kit requiring muiltiple separate peices painted with the body color. Took an hour and a half or spraying. Next I will sand down any inclusions I see, and move on to clear coat. Paint is Lotus Racing Green by Gravity. Ahajmano
Updates! Coming together wonderfully. Paint job cake out superb! I discovered the zero 2k cures so hard, a dremel and cotton bit was just about the only practical way to polish out sanding scratches. Rubbing by hand didn’t go anywhere...
