Give it time, I'm sure it will be shredded here too. It takes a while to find something that's 0.07 100 thousands of a millimeter off.

No doubt. It seems some just have to find something wrong with a new tool. I understand it when major issues occur, case in point the first issue of Revell's 69 Charger, but small things? There is no such thing as a perfect model. Let's say the fan belts were actually done to scale, they would be so fragile you could not remove the part from the tree, then there would be a outrage about that. I find it much easier and a much happier time when I try to find the good in a new kit.

looks like a stepside bed to me, not a flareside

You might be right Al, I don't remember the "flareside" name being used till the 80s or 90s.

I'm not positive about that, but I am positive that one of the experts will set us straight.

It's not going to keep me from buying one though, I think it looks great.

Looks pretty good to me, plus it has a 6!! It's being ripped to shreds on another forum.

Where is it being ripped to shreds? I'd like to see what is said and if it is justified or not. I think it looks pretty good but I'm not very familiar with the subject.
