Chuckyg1
I believe Collectible automobile did an article on the artist, who's name escapes me, a while back. I have original advertisements from National Geographic of the 60, 64 & 65 Bonneville framed in my hobby room. Cool stuff.
Phirewriter
The name on the link says Will Davies, however Art Fitzpatrick was Pontiac's acclaimed ad artist from 1959 thru 1972. He did the auto renderings while Van Kaufman was responsible for the background and people for the illustrations. This is the first time I've seen Mr Davies's name attached to GM ad art as some of the subjects I've come across have been for Chrysler and it's various divisions besides the usual book covers he did. Ace-Garageguy
Absolutely beautiful rendering. I'd love to have the original of that, framed, in a place of honor in my house. I remember in '63 when my parents bought an Olds instead of the Grand Prix they'd been looking at, and I had my own heart set on...and all the wonderful work like this in the Pontiac brochure.
