Maybe we need to create a support group.

Lol! I believe Snake has here with this thread! I'm glad I'm not alone... I just wished I had the stalled builds that I've gotten rid of over the years (probably 100).☹

Ok I'm in for round 3.

My candidate is an AMT chopped 5 window 32 ford.  This is about 15 years old. All that remained from the original project was the body, fenders, and modified frame.

Parts added to finish up are AMT 32 roadster grill shell, radiator,  and grill insert. Interior will be from fantom vicky. Rear is from wagon rod. Still need to make decision on front axle. Have a flat head from an AMT 50 Ford convertible. Still a few more parts choices.

Looking forward to getting another done.

Hee! Hee! Hee!

Hi, I'm Disco and I too am powerless over styrene...  Thanks for sharing...

I'm probably gonna start with my 55 Ford chopped top, Chevy powered, BBQ  Tailgate Hot Rod.

It has its own Workbench thread in the Truck section. I'll be adding updates there too.

Congratulations to all who finished and to all who participated. Many fine looking projects completed.

I'm in for R3. Got to get my Mustang done! I got sidetracked (again) by my 58 Corvette and RX-7. If (when) I get the Mustang done I want to move on to my 50 Ford Sedan.

Later-

Hey guys:

My name is Jon and I too have a plastic problem!

I think I will jump in this time, I have a few that need to get done. First up will be a 69 Camaro, after that I have a 69 Nova, 48 Ford and 57 Ford that I will be working on getting done.

I will post pic of the Camaro tonight.

Because I was so close with my Muttrang kit, I'm going

to finish it and put under glass soon.

Then I maybe consider whether this month will be better

than March was for me!?!  But I would like to enter into a

new era of styrene addiction group!

Because I have been wanting to see this guy done since

there was paint called "Colors by Boyd"!!

Looks like we are close to getting enough for round 3. Snake are you going to srart another thread or use this one.

Looks like (counting the airplane and the big rig) we've had 11 people express interest in Round 3, so I'll add my name to the list for #12:

RobertW: Hasegawa Lockheed Neptune

Straightliner59: Junior Fueler Dragster

BelugaWRX: Wolf WR1

Mod3 lLover: Mustang

Dave Branson: BMW Hartage M5

NAFAW9: Maybe?

Geemoney: ’34 Ford

Disconovaman: Probably some kind of pickup—’55 Ford?

Bobthehobbyguy: ’32 Ford 5-window

Bandit1: Some kind of big rig, maybe?

Prostreeter69: ’69 Camaro

Snake45: ’66 Chevelle

SuperbirdMcMonte: '70 Monte Carlo

Modlbldr: '65 Mustang

Might as well just keep this thread going. Deadline date on Round 3 will be June 30, three months. If you're in, please post a pic of what you're starting with, and maybe a little info about when you started the model and how long it's been doing time on your Shelf of Doom. As always, "workbench" pics are welcome in this thread or you're free to start your own Workbench thread on your completion build.

Okay gang, you know what to do: GITTER DONE! B)

I’d like to throw this original 1970 Monte Carlo into the ring.

I’ve always wanted to do box stock/box art versions of the 70, 71 and 72 Monte Carlo. I think I just won a number of years ago after making my own decals for it.  I didn’t trust the old decals so I drew them up on the computer with one slight change, I put my own name on the door.

This will be a relatively simple build, but I figured I would be doing more than one project again.

But I would like to think that these will be the other two in this time’s trifecta.

The first one is a 1968 Olds convertible. I’m planning on another shifter car.

And car number three is a 1969 Oldsmobile called “COMMITION” by Motion!

This is the 1/18 scale deicast I’m going off for most reference.
