Calling her done

Recommended Posts

I'm calling her done. My Revell Peterbilt 359 "Snap" kit. Everything is box stock except the visor which is from the Revell Germany 359 kit. The paint is Testors De Ja Blue lacquer, with Krylon Aluminum used for the visor. The interior was painted using craft acrylics. My son picked out both the color and the kit. Decals are a combination of AMT, and Revell. This was drama free fun, fun build.

I have never bothered with this kit but see it done I think I will have to pick up a couple of them . Nice build !

Thanks Richard. They may not be as involved as some others, but they build up relatively easily. Freightliner SD currently is my next one up. I will post her when she's done.

Thanks for the post !   I love the "drama-free fun build" comment !

Your post inspired me to pull out my KW W900 "snapper" and "make it done" !    I often agonize waaayyyy too much over every little thing and projects stretch out for months (usually years).   A good "fun build" is just what is needed sometimes.   Yours looks great !

Thanks!

Looks great! You can’t beat these kits, with a little detail work, they turn out fabulous.

Thanks Tom. The only negative is that the furthest rear drive wheels on the right side are slightly off the ground while all other tires set flat. I can overlook it or work on it to get them even. Will ponder this and decide.
