Bottom pic is the FIA Championship for Makes entry, the model kit depicts the American SCCA Can-Am entry.

The 1/25 MPC Indy turbine car has a nice engine & it is not too big.  That kit has been reissued a number of times in the last twenty years.  Not hard to find for under $25.
