Have only recently been bitten by the classic and muscle car bug,  and have bought a few 1/25 scale kits recently,  including a very nice second hand Lindberg '53 Ford Victoria and the 'recent' MPC 1973 Ford Mustang (beyond the body shell, I'd say the rest of this kit looks a bit rough?).

Previously I collected mostly 1/35 scale WW2 tanks and trucks.  Researching U.S. auto manufacturers has led me to this change, plus nostalgia for the era.  From  what I have seen and read so far I gather that a substantial number of the available 1/25  kits date back to the 1960's, with varying degrees of detail and/or authenticity.

Welcome aboard, William! You might think about investing in this:

Excellent reference and history, and very clear on what the good kits of "xxx" are, and which ones are best avoided!

best,
