yellowsportwagon
This is an AMT Fairlane body on a Polar Lights Chassis. The rollbar is MPC cut down two bars on the pass side. PPP tires and wheels. This was built out of spares and extra decals. Only purchases for the build were tires wheels and resin flat hood. Interior uses original sides switched side for side so the flat side shows. Fun little use up spares project.

Dave Van
Another great build. Add to it I like the Woods cars....always classy. Hope you don't mind but this is a older build using the new tool Comet from AMT.....these kits, Fairlane and Comet, are often overlooked. They make nice Cup cars. Bud Moore Comet. Edited December 12, 2018 by Dave Van
TarheelRick
Beautiful work on that Fairlane, has the look of the real thing. The Wood Brothers have always been one of my favorite race teams, ever since I saw Glenn drive a modified at Bowman Gray Stadium (yes, I am that old). MarkJ
Thanks, Tim. I will save those pics for reference if I decide to do the Fairlane. Did you use the tires and wheels from the Talladega kit or are they from some other source.

I probably did some creative stuffing to get it all to fit.

The more of your builds I find the more choice of available bodies there are to build some great classic cars.
gks1964
Did you have to lengthen the chassis?
