Kit Basher
What kit would you start with to make a four door sedan? I have a friend that had one many years ago. I don't know if it was a Bel Air or something else, and it probably doesn't matter. I'm not really sure it was a four door, but I'm guessing it was. Any suggestions? MrObsessive
Perhaps the Revell '56 Chevy Del Ray? That one's already a two door sedan so it's just a matter of scribing in door lines and possibly making new trim. Kit Basher
Thanks, Bill. That was my first thought, but I wanted to see any ideas. Also, those Del Ray kits can be a little pricey, although I would go there if that was the best choice.

Just out of curiousity, what scale is that thing? It looks like it would be real easy to get one. (NOT!)

Tom Geiger
Here's the F&F 56 Chevy 4 door sedan. Ed Fluck has been gone a long time, but his son Ed Junior is still casting. I don't know if he can cast up these again. Still, they pop up, I have one I bought originally from Ed and one I found recently at a show. I'm sure eBay has one from time to time. Set up a search agent for it.
Kit Basher
Thanks, Tom! I may look for one of those.
Kayma367
Star Models still has this one in their catalog: http://www.resinrealm.net/Star/STAR Models/56_Chevy_210_4dr_Sed.html You might want to send Steve an email and see if he still has this in stock. I ordered mine from him about a year ago.

Mine had separate exterior door handles to glue on and doesn't have the bench seat.
Kit Basher
Thanks, guys. I checked out the resin body and it says to use the Revell Del Ray as a donor. I think I would be inclined to just alter the Revell body.
