I had the same issue with my DM600. I clipped off the horns, lights and exhaust and everything else went in the pond. What were they thinking? It's a working truck, construction, truck, it would never have any chrome on it.

Just leave it in the pond till tomorrow.

You can't go wrong with this one unless you stop working on it like I've done with my U model. :D  Looking forward to seeing more! Welcome to the Build Off!

Well, after looking at how the tilting front end works i decided to mount the radiator before priming.

It looks like a lot rides on how straight and square the cab and front end sits rides on how square the radiator sits

This is my attempt to get it in the chassis

And some progress on the cab and enginemackchass2.jpg.09d20df8364f88bfa6722199e599f3e1.jpgmackchass3.jpg.f8d18cd3f3ff6fc6b3aa9227a2be1387.jpg

True Pat

In the days when i had a real job i was a tool and die  guy, %99 of shops back then you were responsible for all the hand type tools and this is some of the stuff from then.

Comes in handy sometimes :)

Super clean work. Love the color.  Years ago my father in law drove a 1983 Mac dump truck. I have been collecting everything needed to reproduce it.
