Gary, I had to add more curvature at the rear edge to fit the cowl and reshape the leading edge (shorten it and change the downward angle) to match the fenders.  The width was spot on.  I have a stock Trumpeter hood, I'll try to take some photos to show the changes.

The kit instructions show you putting the headers in the engine bay and kinda sitting the engine down on top of them.  Might require more engineering to get a solid fit - we shall see.:)

Here are photos comparing the stock Trumpeter hood to the tear drop unit I modified as described above.
