espo
I'm glad to see you're back on this Corvette, it really looks great. I built one a couple of years ago, Box Stock, and enjoyed the kit. The only problem I encountered was the trunk hinge setup. On the engine. If you go with the LS setup and can't find the block maybe you could use the 283 block and the LS heads and intake. The bottom side of the engine is pretty well hidden from view. Either way the paint color combination looks great and I like how you did the interior. Modlbldr
Thanks espo. I got my wheels from Japan today. http:// I am planning to use the Kranze wheels with the Racing Hart tires. The Kranze set's tires don't have a tall enough sidewall. I will narrow the outer rim of the fronts for a staggered offset and I may paint the wheel spokes to match the cove on the body. http:// This is getting closer to my inspiration car. http:// Later- Edited March 10, 2019 by Modlbldr
bisc63
Very nice looking wheels! Good choice.
Modlbldr
Did some painting of the wheel centers to match the coves. Also narrowed the fronts and used the piece removed to widen the rears. http:// Still need to sand a bit of the rear frame rails to get the rear wheels to tuck in a bit. Not looking too bad, in my opinion. http:// Later-

Modlbldr
Progress has been slow. Along with being a bit busy at work and home lately, I have also been working on my 89 FC3S kit. Worked a bit on this today. Got the motor from the 06 Camaro installed. Nothing extravagant bit it will look fine once the body is on. http:// http:// I bought some Pegasus disc rotors yesterday. Tomorrow I will get the radiator installed and see about finishing the chassis. Perhaps the decals on the dash and detailing of the door panels.
