NOBLNG
This is killing me! I've been locked out of my garage since yesterday! Something broke in the lock and the locksmith is coming hopefully tomorrow to break in for me. This means NO painting (other than brush). I am at the stage on a couple of kits where I would like to primer the bodies. I am tempted to open all my kits and start gluing the engine parts together. It's only -33 here with the wind-chill right now (it has warmed up considerably). Edited February 1, 2019 by NOBLNG
Ace-Garageguy
Geez, that's cold. +20 here is pretty extreme. At that temperature (-33), what kind of insulation do you have in your garage so you can get it warm enough to paint?
NOBLNG
I leave a little space heater on constant so that I don't get frost on all my tools and stuff. When I want to work in there, I fire up the wood stove or plug in the 5k 220 volt space heater.
oldnslow
Wow , and I think it's bad here when it's in the 30s .
Dave Ambrose
-33 is just brutal. I’m in the San Diego area. We bundle up and shiver piteously whenever the air temperature drops below 50 F.
