Have been very busy with life in general and less time at the bench but not out of the hubby. Here is what I am working on. It is a replica of the Nostalgia Drag Racing P/S Colt.

The owner of the real car Bob Mayerle reach me to make him a model of his race car. So far this is where I am. Using spare parts and aftermarket pieces I think this can be done.

The body is a resin Dodge Colt that I got from Southern Motorsports.

Nice start. 

are you going to dress the motor up a bit to look like a Dodge Wedge? Maybe at least put the distributor in the front?

Your build looks like you got the look nailed.  GREAT job!!

I heard these Colts were absolute terrors to drive.  Very unpredictable, but what would you expect with that short of a wheelbase and stupid amounts of power?  Great topic, I look forward to seeing the finished result!

I bet this Pro Street Colt I saw Saturday was a wild drive. I should have taken a closer photo.
