DrKerry
Started this about two weeks ago. Started out was going to hack this up and put the roofline of a Peterbilt on it and have a salt flat Pete but it didn’t look right. SO! What to do with this mess that I started??? Well! Build it!!! This is what I have so far!!! when you forgot your saw at home, what do ya do?? Grab the closest thing at work and chop it!! thinning out the body... DrKerry
After the chop! Need to use my saw at home to cut the roof panel apart though!!

Sam I Am
Hmmm. Now I need to figure out which thread needs the kettle corn and which gets the extra buttery.....
bobthehobbyguy
Just a thought but the front windshield should be angled back. Fits the rest of the work you've done.
Spex84
This thing is nuts! Are the tires going to protrude through the fenders??
misterNNL
Considering the extremely low profile of that hood I would be tempted to mount the engine mid-ship. What you've done so far is very unique and creative work. Thanks for sharing.

Tires and wheels (If any, may be built as a slammer) will all be under the body. 19 hours ago, misterNNL said: Considering the extremely low profile of that hood I would be tempted to mount the engine mid-ship. May just be a blower up through the rear canopy but it will be shown as mid engine... 48 minutes ago, Mr. Metallic said: You're a wild man Kerry. i love it i expect to see it in primer at KKIM Craig my friend! You know me just a little bit eh!!?? Wild man I am! Almost as a Mad Doctor would be eh?? Lol Maybe have it done by Kemp’s at the rate I’m going!! As of today! Bulges on front fenders will be trimmed and smoothed to be shown as tire canopies. Will add a couple for rear tires as well... Top is in and needs to be filled.... misterNNL
Next you might consider tapering the profile of those front wheel flares clear back to where the cab side windows are for a more swoopy look.

You read my mind!! Lol getting there... Extended the rear quarter panels, opened up the rear lower quarters to act as an air inlet for engine cooling. The pointed areas on top of the quarters will hold a spoiler in case anyone is wondering!! I’m thinking of eliminating the opera windows in the corners of the back wall... Also thinking of putting two bars from the stock grille across the front to fill the gap..

misterNNL
Nice that you can get some bench time in while at work. I used to work on some of mine during lunch back in the '70's so I know that's a great thing to enjoy.

Need to unwind some days and it helps to sit and tinker with something!
