saw a builder was from Sparta TN, but cant remember his screen name. i live in Cookeville/Algood, and grew up in Sparta!! was just wonderin if anybody else was in the great state of TN!!

I don't believe I've posted on here yet, but I live just south of Knoxville. I'll more than likely be at the Cookeville show in March. I used to attend it every year, but I haven't been since my little boy was born.

I'm in Humboldt Tn,just a few miles from Jackson.I was beggining to think I was the only person in Tenn. that built Models.I know a couple from another board but not many.I was born in KY.

The Knoxville show is on the 28th at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum, start time 9;00 am. It is put on knoxville car club. You can go on www.ipmususa.org and get the details in the upcoming events. Hope this helps out. Jeff.

Thanks for the info, guys! The Cookeville show is a no-brainer as it's 30 minutes from where I live, but I hope I'll be able to go to Knoxville as well.

I know Monty, i live 10 mins. from him he is a good friend of mine, just saw him 2 weeks ago. Him and his wife Pam have Bought a home and had it moved to his land, they have been busy remodeling it inside and out. He said that is is going to try to get to the Cookville show. Yes Monty is building something different for the Cookville Show. Hope this helps out, Jeff Marsh.

Hey Roger, the Cookville Show is March 14th 2009, at the Tennessee Tech University, at the student center. Cookville Tennessee. This show grows bigger each year it has Military, Cars all types Trucks all types, and so on. Show times are 9 to 4. Hope this helps out. Jeff.

Ah yes, good ole Monty. I miss him indeed! Jeff, next time you see him, tell him Jody said hi and that I really do miss it down there!For any of you guys in that area, get ahold of Monty and get yerself aquanted with the modeling group hes in, S.P.A.M. (sick puppies automotive modelers). Good bunch of guys. They meat once a month in maryville at the hobby lobby. Thanks. Jody

Unfortunately, S.P.A.M. did not have a web site. You can ask Jeff (bowtie) perhaps on contact info, or stop at the LHS in Sevierville on the stretch by the exotic pet shop. He will give ya the info. I had his contact info, but when my hard drive crashed on my computer, I lost it. Thanks. Jody

Sorry Guys can not help ya on the model club! Bill at Smokey Mountain Hobbies can tell you what you need! It is located across from the adult store sexy stuff in Seiverville, Great guy he builds mainly military models but he is a blast!!!!!!!!!! Jeff.

ill be at the cookeville show too. it aint but about 7 mins from my house. dont thank ill have any builds for it but like to go and look. hope to run into some of ya'll. i aint real hard to miss.

hopefully it want snow this year. cuz it was nice and cold, and snowy.

but would be interested in meeting some of ya'll!!!
