Ryan Ran a similar tribute paint scheme at Darlington in 2018. That's a pretty nice addition, Man... Nascar really has some awesome paint (wrap) schemes... kilrathy10
I got this thing the other day... I about fell over when I found it to be a TRUE 1/24 scale die cast Ford F-150 of this era... This is my PRIZE!!! It was the last purchase I made in 2020, and it was a good one... The last pic is of the Jada F-150 Lightning, which is (to my surprise) actually 1/24 scale.... Along with the Motormax 1/25 (the box says 1/24) scale F-150... Edited January 7, 2021 by kilrathy10

Gramps46
I have a interest in Studebakers and wanted a Franklin Mint '63 Avanti but the prices have been way over my budget till I spotted this one which was listed as damaged and the dealer let it go for $30. It is missing the front bumper and valance along with the mirrors but my plan is to do a 1963 Andy Granatelli Bonneville record holder. I have a bid in on an AMT Avanti which could yield the parts I need if widened a bit. The color is right. Studebaker Avanti serial number R1007 was labeled number "9" and "R3 powered" for the track at the Bonneville salt flats. Original California registration was to Paxton Products. Supplemental instrumentation and custom tires and wheels were added. R1007 was one of three cars that were used by Studebaker for the speed record trials at Bonneville in 1962-1963. The Gold Avanti labeled number “9” was driven by Andy Granatelli and scored an American Class C closed car supercharged record speed of 170.81 miles per hour. In this same automobile, Paula Murphy was to became the “Worlds Fastest Woman on Wheels.”

THarrison351
Another Corvette for the collection. Franklin Mint 1988 Corvette 35th Anniversary edition. Limited on details, but a slight improvement over the 25th Anniversary version. The top comes off and the hatch opens. The headlights don't pop up, but they are under the hood. I have the 2003 50th Anniversary on the way and that just leaves the 1953 model. I have a Monogram model to build, but I'd like to get a Danbury mint. Apparently it's going 55! Gramps46
I like white Corvettes and this one looks really good. Thank you for sharing. As far as '53s go the Wix is a nice option too.

Couple years ago I did the AMT '53 snapper right out of the box in polished white plastic, and then thought it might be fun to do a series of Corvette roadsters in polished white plastic with red interiors. I recently finished the second of the series, an AMT '59. Next up will be an AMT '63, and then either a Revell '68 or an MPC '75. I think I might have a white 4G promo around here somewhere--I'd have never bought such a thing, but I think I got one in a gang-buy with a couple other things I did want at the time. Those have to be the best built AMT C1 Corvettes I've ever seen! Especially the front end on the 59 considering all the parting lines from the mold. Also, The fitment of the chassis on the '53 is better than any I've seen! Excellent!
THarrison351
Two arrived between late last night and today! My other anniversary Corvette and a Ford pickup. First up is a Danbury Mint 1942 Ford. The predecessor to the F Series Pickups; the Jailbar Pickups were made from 1942-47 (before and after the war) Known for their Jailbar looking grille, they were more truck like than earlier pickups, they had heavy hood molding and side hood louvers. The green in the photos came out darker than it really is. The photo of the cab is much closer to the correct color. This is the Franklin Mint 2003 50th Anniversary Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car. I just wanted one of the Ruby Red ones or even a Yellow hardtop for my 2003 50th Anniversary Corvette, because these usually bid way out of my price range. Well, it didn't and here it is. That leaves only one more Corvette to get.
Tom Geiger
Okay... these are on you guys! There was a mention of this Jag in a thread, which I think is an absolutely gorgeous car. So I went looking for one. And once you are buying something you need to justify the postage by buying more! I love these two! We will never see kits but we can get them in 1/24 scale. All three are very nicely executed, Fiat by Welly, Jeep is Maisto and Jag is Burago. $18 apiece including shipping. With diecast this nice for cheap, I can’t blame people for not building models anymore!

Now, I can't stop!!! Got tired of waiting for kits for stuff... Anyone seen a kit version of the new Corvettes, yet? Or even announced? keyser
I've got a lot of stuff I've acquired over recent years I've not seen in here,The Quattroruote Magazine stuff-Alfa Disco Volante, Giulietta Sprint, Duetto, TZ2, 33 Stradale, Lancia Villa D'este, B24 Spider, Fulvia, Fiat Giardinetta, 131 Abarth, Citroen SM and a Welly DS19 Decapotable, Miura, Miura update (Motormax), Alfa Giulia spider, Kammtail Alfa spider, BMW 02, 230SL MB pagoda. Alfa 2900 MM coupe. I also have some great 1/24 Vespas (called 1/32 but 1/24 best I can tell), a couple shifter karts, a John Deere Gator, a center pivot Deere mower, 4 wheel off roader, a few single rider atv's, some jet skis, a golf cart with clubs, all diecast. Don't want to duplicate stuff, but haven't seen any of it. LMK if anyone would like to see any of it. Pretty fun stuff. All but the QR stuff quite reasonable. Shifter karts never seen again, odd Old San Francisco toy company manufacturer. Need to Snake fu a few, lower the Citroens a bit. etc. ots of fun stuff from QR still coming, WRC rally cars, LeMans cars (have not seen any, maybe a GT40 here Russian stuff, Japanese stuff too, a 2000GT better than EBBRO, Now White Box, few others making some to easier to obtain. LMK, happy to shoot quickie shots. Fun Maisto 2000 VW Bus showcar, that took awhile to get. Keep up stream of goodies. L
THarrison351
My latest and unless I get a good deal, probably last for a while. The dirt late model car is from Action and it supposedly is one Tony Stewart drove in 2001, but I can find no pictures with this exact paint scheme. The #20 completes my Tony Stewart display. I'd like an Indy car, but the eBayers think the Racing Champions cars are made of gold. At least I have something representing most of his successes before retirement and a couple as a car owner. The Franklin Mint 1915 Stutz Bearcat was a happy accident. A $20 buy it now on eBay. I always liked these, but they always bid out of my price range. I didn't notice until I got it, but there are two cowl lights missing. After looking at a bunch on eBay this seems to be common, and unless you knew they had them, not missed.
