Gramps46
I have been looking for this Leo Models 1/24 Alfa Giulietta Spider for what seems like a long time and finally got one from Italy today. For size comparison I show it with its big brother the Leo Models 2600 Spider.
Geno
Sweet Mustang Steve, i also have this one but in red, I got it a HL as a kit. I detailed the interior and engine bay before assembly. They are nice models, especially for the price.😊

For some reason, I like the Competition Orange more and for $9.99 I couldn't pass it up. I will blow it apart one of these days and add some detail to it, especially the exhaust system. The tips need to be drilled out or replaced with tubing.

It's available with top either up or down--the one I got at Rite-Aid last year has the up-top. I THOUGHT I'd posted about it here but I just ran several searches and can't find it. Anyway, it's not quite as nice as these of course but it's a typical "pretty nice" Welly--WELL worth the $10 buy-in.

I got mine at Rite Aid before they disappeared in our area.

Snake45
Didn't get it, but saw it at Walmart this week: New (to me, anyway) M2 '69 Z/28, RS, yellow with black stripes, black interior, Rally wheels, CI hood. Looked nice but I built the Revell kit almost exactly that way almost 30 years ago, and I already have an orange M2 Z/28.
Snake45
Stopped by my hometown (former) Rite-Aid today, first time I've been there since they went Walgreen's. (I've heard that SOME Walgreen's still carry the Wellys.) The beloved Welly/Beanie Baby display was gone. In the toy aisle, they had two boxed Maistos, a black Viper GTS and a 4-door pickup of some kind. Price on them was decent at $9.99, though. Left empty-handed. It is so very sad. Gramps46
I have had the same experience at Walgreens in the toy isle. Have not bothered to stop there in several months.

Gramps46
This is great. A barn find condition Alfa. I don't think I have seen the Alfetta before and need to go looking for one. You can see it has the standard Bburago wheels so you know it was made in Italy before the move to China. Really appreciate your sharing this one with us. Surprised at the prices being asked for the street versions.

I've been looking for the car to go with it ever since. eBay sellers were asking too much for the NASCAR Authentics. I just happened to run across someone selling these three cars together for $14.95 and they arrived Thursday. I didn't really want the Body Armor cars, but it seemed to be a fair price, plus I get cars I can display and put back in the package. Ever since I first heard about Hailie Deegan I've been sort of following her and hoping she'd be successful. It seems like every time a woman comes to motorsports, the media builds them up and they never meet the expectations. Anyways, when I saw they were releasing her ARCA car in the NASCAR Authentics, I started scouting for it. I'm guessing everyone is too, because this is the first one I've seen and we have seven Wally Worlds, and three Targets within about 30 minutes of where I live and when I've been hunting, zip, zilch, nada until Friday, and there was only one on the three pegs that were crammed full of all of the rest of the 2020 Wave 06. I think this year has the most 1/64 scale diecasts I've collected since the nineties! I did not find a diecast but I found her.

Russell C
Cheap purchase off ebay, very old but not at all rare simple 'futuristic' car with what looks like early '50s Cadillac taillight fins on the back. What I see in it, however, is a car headed in the other direction, as in custom slab sided / chopped & forward raked top late '30s Ford. I'll have to grind back decent sized chunks of those pointy pontoon fenders, mostly. It scales out to roughly the same size as those cartoonish M2 street machine diecasts, so that's where I can source its wheels and maybe one or two other bits. Should be a fun little project when I get to it. Edited June 8, 2021 by Russell C

Gramps46
I got these two yesterday and thanks to HomerS posting of his Alfa Alfetta above I was able to latch onto this Corsa Rally version by BBurago. It is an older BBurago release from when they were still in Italy and is missing a taillight but I should be able to use the other one to cast the missing one. The Corvette is a 1999 Franklin Mint and needs a little cleaning but other wise looks pretty good. It helps fill in the C5 years in my Corvette collection. Gramps46
I had never paid much attention to a Jaguar XK 180 before but came across this Welly version and it looked interesting. Just wish it was in Ecurie Ecosse blue like one on the box.

keyser
Cool. I haven’t seen an XK180 in ages! First issue was metallic BRG. Maisto does nice stuff. Need to reissue their McLaren F1. First issue was silver or dark met. grey. I did not get this today. 1/24. They did 1/18 XK180 and F1 too.

caapa
I got it yesterday from post: Lamborghini Sian FKP 37, scale 1:24 made in China by Che Zhi The model is a toycar with pullback drive, light front and rear and motor sound with grinding brakes at the end . But for a toycar the details are very fine and rich. Even the tyres are fitted with correct direction of rotation. I can say negativ only that the breakediscs with caliper are rotating with the wheels together. And the mirrors are painted silver only.
