IH S-Series FD Tanker

Recommended Posts

This is an old project I just re-found it started as a Boley 1/87 scale IH 4900 crew cab water tanker.

Chassis was not the greatest junk it went.

Had a u-haul 1/87 scale truck labeled for a bread company swiped the cab and a few other parts from it.

As i'm going to be building an S-series FD water tanker.

This will include a scratchbuilt frame, suspension,  axles including a steerable front axle,  2 hole buds painted red with silver outer lip, working light's, pe grill, mirrors, new paint after stripping.

More to follow

Small update got the etch grill for my S-Series so opened the old solid grill to get the see thru effect.

Haven't forgotten just a lot on my plate and 2 challenges going on one here the other a model rr site.

This is one of 3 S-Series trucks I'm working on this tanker,  a medic unit and a slidebed.

Lots going on here at the house.

Trying to get My Cow Chow Power Freightshaker done for a challenge and having issue's with the type of rear air ride i need for it so trying to get it done before the end of June.

Then can focus on this one as my next build is taking longer than I expected.
