James2
How about a stock wheelbase "STREET FREAK" Chevy II... Just for kicks last year I relocated the rear wheel openings and since it is still snowing outside I went ahead and stretched the frame to fit the new wheelbase. After I get the interior tub and chassis lined up I'll continue with tubing the engine compartment and roll cage. Wheels and tires from the parts box... bobthehobbyguy
Nice start. What did you do to relocate the rear wheel wells?
Snake45
Nice! I've been wanting to try that for a long time. I think I'm gonna just use the '66 Nova pro street chassis, though.
Deuces
That's an idea... Pro street chassis with a gasser front end.... ?☺️?

Once I found the correct wheelbase, subtracting the kits wheelbase told me how far to move the opening. Cutting, sliding to piece back and filling the gap with styrene. A little body filler and there it is.
James2
This one is ready for paint now....
James2
Not much detail just a little shelf model. I have a few things to finish up and paint. I polished the glass and hope to tint it to match the paint. The headers are scratch made with styrene and shrink wrap. That scoop is a modified Impala piece. ChrisBcritter
Nice! Tough-looking machine - and good job fixing the wheelbase.
