StevenGuthmiller
Of course my decals refused to cooperate! One broke in half and the other into 3 pieces while installing them! But, I managed to get them on and all of the engine parts clear coated. Will try to get the transmission touched up and the oil filter taken car of later on this afternoon.. br67
I'm always amazed at the amount of small detail you always add. Bravo!

I don't always go to these lengths with detail. I'm just as happy building a curbside model on occasion. I just decided that being as I was going with a chassis and engine upgrade on this one that I would work on a little more detail. Once I got into building a new firewall and completely revamping the interior........well, it just kind of snowballed from there. But surprisingly, I've been having a really good time building this one. Being such a rare kit, I felt it deserved the extra attention. SfanGoch
This is looking great, Steve. I'm glad I'm taking a break from car models over the summer. It gives me the opportunity to glom over projects like yours and pick up some ideas. I doff my Coney Island baseball cap to you.

StevenGuthmiller
A considerable amount of finicky "magnifier" work went into the intake on the 426, but it's finished! Moving on to wiring the rest of the engine next. Steve
Bucky
Absolutely beautiful work on this intake! I may have mentioned it before, but I think you could display this Plymouth in an uncompleted, exploded view display and come away with some bling!! LOL

I would never be able to do that. I would just sit there and stare at it and wonder when I was going to finish it! Steve

LouO
the details on the carbs and intake are a model on there own
StevenGuthmiller
Thanks everyone! I appreciate the nice comments! I have decided that I'm going to change the coil. I never noticed until seeing the close up pictures, but something went haywire with the finish, so I think I'll just throw together a new one quick rather than monkey with trying to refinish this one.
